ŠKODA Establish VisionS Concept at Geneva 2016

ŠKODA inured to this year’s Geneva Motor Elucidate as a platform to show-off their brand new SUV concept set up called VisionS. The VisionS is a further clues of how ŠKODA are continuing to evolve their identify and SUV range for the next era in their history.

The VisionS embodies ŠKODA’s latest contrive language first implemented by the recent Gorgeous model. The design for VisionS is evidently inspired by Czech Cubism and Nonconformist crystal art with its grandeur shape consisting of bright and distinct lines which complement the crystal-like aesthetic of the Archipelago-green paintwork.

In terms of its size, at 4.70m fancy, nearly 2m wide and 1.68m tall, the ŠKODA VisionS inclination certainly be an emphatic presence on the roads. Furthermore, it wishes be ŠKODA’s first model to contain six seats across three rows.

One of the big focal points of the new VisionS concept is its composite status. Its 165kw plug-in hybrid powertrain allows the 4×4 to excursion around 30 miles on electricity only before kicking into fuel style, achieving a top speed of 124mph in the process. This compound powertrain fuses a 154bhp 1.4 litre machine with a 54bhp electric motor which is integrated into the 6 despatch DSG that directs power to the front machine. This works independently from a next e-motor at the back which drives the Nautical stern axle, culminating in a smart four-neighbourhood drive system.

All-new interior technology includes a muscular display infotainment system with multi-link functionality meaning passengers can connect to the way in multiple ways from any seat in the car.

While VisionS was unveiled at Geneva 2016 as a concept exemplar, we will likely see a production version later on in 2016.
