Nissan has refreshed the lengthy-serving 370Z sports car with some visual upgrades and a few mechanical tweaks.

Nissan has revealed an updated adaptation of its 370Z coupe for 2018, with the bulk of changes focusing on cosmetic tweaks in a bid to hold it looking fresh-faced against the likes of the new Jaguar F-Type and Porsche 718 Cayman.

Visually, Nissan has added starless door handles and a black rear bumper, while tinted head and hindquarters lamps are now standard. New 19-inch alloy wheels have also been tailored along with a new red exterior finish on the options list. Inside, a seven-inch touchscreen featuring sat-nav, DVD punter and a rear-view camera is standard on GT as well as Nismo models.

Mechanical changes are few and far between, but Nissan has added a EXEDY high-priced-performance clutch to models fitted with a six-speed manual gearbox – the choice of a seven-speed auto remains. Under the bonnet the same 324bhp 3.7-litre V6 mechanism powers the rear wheels, while a ‘refined’ suspension system completes the ball-like of changes.

The updated 370Z is on sale now priced from £29,185 in the UK.
