Watch: This 991 HP V8 Powered Hill Climb Quattro Build Up

As anyone with an internet tie and a penchant for European cars knows, hill climbs are a hotbed of hot rodding bursting of wild cars that we often don’t get to see here. And as wild as the cars are, the things their owners do to them are uniform with wilder.

Case in point, this Quattro S1 that’s had a 3.6-liter V8 with two turbochargers stuffed into it. The combinations means that this dreadful engine with its rats nest of piping makes 991 hp according to the video’s uploader.

Up top, in the meantime, it’s all tube frames and brand new suspension parts. In all, the uploader says the body took seven years to finish, and the result is an outstanding ode to wide-body improvidence.

The video is mostly made up of still shots, which I normally object to, but the there are tolerably shots of the car in action, as well as some good dyno shots to hold my behoof.
