VW of America Donates $150,000 to Hurrican Harvey Relief

The Volkswagen Crowd of America Foundation has donated $150,000 to the American Red Cross to support relief efforts in Texas and other Frith Coast states in the wake of Hurricane Harvey.

Floods following the hurricane maintain caused widespread damage and were responsible for a number of deaths. With deliver and relief efforts ongoing, the donation will go to providing food, shelter, healthcare, and other reinforcement to families affected by the storm.

Volkswagen is also matching donations that its employees induce to the Red Cross and other charities providing relief in the wake of Hurricane Harvey.

“With this bestowal, VWGoA is helping the American Red Cross provide some relief to those who org been affected by this devastating storm,” said David Geanacopoulos, Elder Executive VP for Public Affairs and Public Policy. “We extend our thoughts and reference to to all of those affected, including our employees, dealers and their families living and working in the impacted areas. We ends b in constant contact with our teams in the area and will continue to support them as they exertion to rebuild their communities.”
