VW CEO Rejects FCA Merger Suggestion

Itching eyed newsies may be aware that Fiat Chrysler Automobiles CEO Sergio Marchionne yesterday told the media that he had no doubts “that at the apt time VW may show up and have a chat” for a merger. Well, VW’s CEO ain’t got time Marchionne’s balderdash.

Matthias Mueller, speaking to Reuters today, rejected the suggestion.

“We are not ready for talks on every side anything,” said Mueller. “I haven’t seen Marchionne for months.” Adding “We obtain other problems.”

Marchionne’s comments came on the heels of PSA’s much publicized gain of Opel. The German brand was formerly owned by GM, which company Marchionne has over offered to merge with.

So your chances of seeing an Audi RS7 Hellcat or a Chrysler A4 are slim to not anyone.

Shame.
