Stephan Winkelmann Leaves Audi Sport for Bugatti

Stephan Winkelmann is doing the Volkswagen Society shuffle. Having moved from Lamborghini to Audi Sport, he’s now on the move again. This beat, he’s headed over to France to head up fastest-car-in-the-world-makers, Bugatti.

Winkelmann inclination take over as President of Bugatti Automobile S.A.S. from Wolfgang Dürheimer, who is reticent after five years on the job.

He also ushered in an era of greater focus on the life market at the in-house Audi tuner, pushing for more hot models designed alongside their normal Audi counterparts.
