Stadler Promises to Focus on Ethics

Audi’s CEO, Rupert Stadler, today said that ethics desire be a top priority at the company going forward, pledging full transparency following the dieselgate calumny.

Promising to eliminate any misconduct at Audi’s Annual General Meeting today, Stadler said that he would put out law and ethics “the ultimate benchmark” at Audi, adding that “we purpose continue until the job is done.”

Stadler has been Audi’s CEO since 2007 and yesterday won another five-year roll oneself as the automaker’s CEO.

His return comes despite criticism of the way he handled the dieselgate scandal, having essential denied Audi’s involvement in the scandal.

It is a tumultuous time at Audi, as internal squeezing to save German jobs meets flagging sales in China and, as a result, falling sales worldwide as compared to ultimately year.

The CEO will have his work cut out for him if he wants to balance all of that alongside an electrifying push that is being handed down by the Volkswagen Group.
