Audi is jumping into the SUV regatta with both feet and its flagship is set to be as big and comfortable as it is fast. And now we know a little bit more round how owners will interact with the Q8 thanks to these spy shots of the interior.

The entourage has been eager to show off how many touchable screens it has in concept cars, but it truly looks like they’ll bringing all that tactile technology to exchange with the Q8.

The interior, though seemingly borrowed from the SQ7, also features some new toys, in the pattern of an additional touch screen down low on the center console.

The screen appears to hold sway over comfort settings, like air conditioning and seat heating. The interior doesn’t very look finished, though, as the screens have been jury rigged in locale on metal stands.

For a closer approximation to what a finished product might look like, we can look at before Q8 concepts, which had a similar set up, albeit with the top screen lower down on the fly.

The latest rumors, meanwhile suggest that when you’re pressing the accelerator, in place of of the touchscreens, you’ll have access to a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 delivering a Lamborghini Urus-like 600 hp, in RS Q8 shapely anyway.

And since these photos were taken on the Nürburgring, it seems odds-on that the Q8 will be able to round a bend, too.

Expect the Q8 to go on sale in 2018.
