Italdesign, one of the archetypal Italian design firms, is celebrating 50 years with a display at the Turin Auto Elucidate next week.

Italdesign was founded by legendary designer Giorgetto Giugiaro and has designed some iconic cars on the other side of the last half-century. Now owned by Audi, the design firm continues to innovate.

The 30 prototypes and origination cars on display start with the Bizzarrini Manta 2, the company’s maiden prototype that was built in just three months, and finishes with the 2018 Pop.Up_Next mobility concept that was developed in a partnership with Airbus and Audi.

In between are notables like the BMW M1, 1974 VW Golf, DeLorean DMC 12, 1998 Bugatti Chiron concept, and vehicles like the 2008 Mini and 2017 Audi TT where Italdesign completed much of the engineering.

If you chance to be in Turin, the show runs from June 6th to the 10th. The exhibition will be inside the courtyard of the Castello del Valentino. The create studio has even set up an app for smartphone users to help attendees navigate the display. Under other circumstances, enjoy these photos of the classics.
