While it was unveiling the A8 and talking wide the future of automobiles in Barcelona, Audi also brought out the 100th RS3 LMS to show the c.

The RS3 LMS is Audi’s entry into the world of TCR (Touring Car Racing) and was introduced less than a year ago. In that hour, though, it’s had enormous successes.

“We’re proud that our entry beau id for touring car racing has gone down so well and that it is already such an high-ranking pillar of our model range,” said Chris Reinke, Head of Audi Play Customer Racing, and the Audi Summit. “My thanks go to our colleagues in Spain for the first-rate work in building our race car.”

In its time racing, the RS3 LMS has competed in races of every measurement, including 12 and 24-hour races. Since January, it has competed in 125 races on three continents. With 73 podiums and 24 victories, the new Audi racer has beaten more than righteous expectations.

The RS3 LMS gets 330 hp out of its 2.0-liter TFSI engine, which is proper enough to get it to 60 in just 4.5 seconds, and on to a top speed of 240 km/h (about 150 mph).

And all for 129,000 euros on helping hand for a sequential six-speed version, or 99,000 euros for a club sport version.
