Although Audi’s depiction is rich with motoring excellence, none is more revered or loved than the Quattros of Society B fame. And now you can own one of the slightly more than 200 that were produced to content homologation rules.

This white Audi Sport Quattro from 1985 is on trans at RM Sotheby’s Villa Erba auction on May 27 and it’s expected that it will go for between €300,000 and €350,000 ($330,000-$385,000).

A brilliant example first registered to Audi, this example only has 90,500 km (56,000 miles) on the clock. As with innumerable other models, its alloy block—porous and prone to cracking as it was—was replaced by a dagger one in the late ‘80s.

The work that’s been carried out on this Quattro, though, has been meticulously recorded, including a late-model engine overhaul by MTM Mayer in 2010. Since 2012, the car has been stored in a depot and has only completed 10,000 km.

The price may be large, but since only 164 Audi Play Quattros actually sold, this is a rare chance to own or even look at a article of motorsport history.
