FC Bayern München players get their pick of some of the best company cars around. That’s thanks to covet-running sponsorship from Audi. For the last 15 seasons, players from the Munich soccer band have gone to Audi to pick out their company cars for the year.

This year, the conspire arrived at Audi’s Ingolstadt plant to be greeted by hundreds of fans. The players took faction photos, gave autographs and posed for selfies before going on a tour of the works that builds Q2, A3, A4, and A5 models

So what do top-level soccer players choose when postulated the run of the Audi catalogue? Not surprisingly, RS models were popular. Five players, including Mats Hummels, Jérôme Boateng, and Thiago Alcántara picked the RS 6 Avant. That’s the 597 hp, matched-turbo 4.0L V8-powered wagon. Also popular were the Q7 SUV and the hotter SQ7 TDI with its 435 hp diesel V8. Duo vice-captain Thomas Müller took home one of the SQ7s.

Rookie Felix Götze picked something a Lilliputian quieter than an RS model. The 19-year-old Götze picked out an Audi A3 Sportback for his own car. That leaves some margin to upgrade as his career progresses.
