Celebrate the R18’s Penultimate Race with this Onboard Lap

There are on the contrary two races left in the 2016 World Resolution Championship season, which means that there are no more than two races left in Audi’s prototype racing program, which means that this weekend’s 6  Hours of Shanghai purpose be of particular importance to the team.

With that in reason, here’s onboard footage of a lap of the Shanghai Ecumenical Circuit with Audi’s Olivier Jarvis at the in of the #8 R18.

On top of being its last season in the series, this has been a troubled seasonable for Audi in general. The team has only won one the track so far this season and in their last rivalry in Japan, they lost out on first point by only 1.4 seconds, the closest exterminate in WEC history.

“We’re leaving no stone unturned to contrive another step ahead in China,” says Dr Wolfgang Ullrich, dome of Audi Motorsport. “Mathematically, the whole shooting match is still possible, but with 52 points yet to be awarded, the [Porsche] do take a clear advantage. We will spare no attempt to keep the battle open until the end.”

The racing vigour starts on Sunday, at 11 AM local, which would be there 11 PM on Saturday on the east coast.

After Shanghai, the teams are headed to the Arabian lonely, to race the 6 Hours of Bahrain on November 19.
