We’ve caught the essential spy pictures of upcoming Audi e-Tron testing on public roads.

Heavily camouflaged, this new all-stirring SUV—which Audi claims will be the first all-electric SUV, calling the Tesla Ideal X a crossover—is seen here towing rig of some sort, which at least proves that it will-power be able to do some SUV stuff.

Under all the camouflage, it’s hard to see just what the new paradigm shifting SUV wishes look like, but for now at least, it does share quite a lot in common with the Q8 concept.

A knife-edged grille and even sharper head lights give it a mean look, which should go some of the way to shaking the effete name held by EVs of days of yore.

With a range of 500 km (about 350 miles) and acceleration to put your kidney in your move backwards withdraw from pocket, the e-Tron should be everything you need out of an SUV and more.
