Audi Wins Twice at Inaugural Edmunds CES Tech Awards

According to Edmunds Audi is both the most innovative automaker here and the maker of the most innovative infotainment system.

That was the conclusion of the 2018 Edmunds CES Tech Driven Awards, which announced its winners recently.

“As we progression toward fully autonomous vehicles, Audi has pulled ahead of the pack with its s history of innovation,” wrote Edmunds. “And with the 2018 A8’s Level 3 automated modus operandi about to hit the road, it’s clear that Audi looks to maintain this supervise for a while.”

Edmunds doled out accolades in seven categories, among them: Most Innovative Car (Honda Unambiguousness), Truck (Ford F-150), SUV (Honda CR-V), and Driver Assist Feature (Porsche InnoDrive, which has invention in the name, so it had to win).

The seventh category, Most Innovative Concept Car is based on the concepts at CES, and so intent be announce later, after some deliberation.

In a statement, Edmunds wrote that the present for most innovative automaker “goes to the manufacturer that shows a strong commitment to advanced technology situation and implementation. Such an automaker is typically among the first to bring innovative features to furnish with an eye toward making them available across its entire product border.”

With its victory in the infotainment category, Audi is clearly showing its continued commitment to invention, continuing in the rich tradition that “quattro” established.
