Audi Q3 Reportedly Set for 2018 Debut

The smaller side of Audi’s lineup is set for renewal this year, with the Q3, A1, and SQ2 all reportedly on slot for debuts in 2018.

That’s according to a report from IndianAutosBlog, based on an image allegedly showing the kind’s 2018 product cadence.

The image shows three vehicles under wraps, labeled with the names A1 Sportback, SQ2, and Q3—in that orderli. The image is at least a little bit suspect because the images don’t all line up, nor do the labels, however the images, font, and style of the document are all consistent with other Volkswagen Unit presentations.

For American purposes, at least, the document seems credible since we’ve already seen the Q3 testing.

Expected to move for the 2019 model year, it would make sense for Audi to present the car later this year.

Based on the MQB policy, the compact SUV is expected to shed about 110 lbs. With a range of four cylinder engines expected, the Q3 intention probably be offered in both front and all-wheel drive in Europe, if not in America.

The A1 and SQ2, meantime, are unlikely come our way, but the little hatch is expected to make up to 250 hp thanks to a four-cylinder apparatus, while the SQ2 is expected to get the S3’s 306 hp engine.
