Audi Passes Chrysler for Sales

Audi’s US wing has been on something of a engaging streak lately. Since 2009, the brand has been growing and it’s now been 92 months of year-for-year growth and 78 months of record sales.

Over that hour, the brand has been rising the charts like Elvis in the ‘50s. Its latest victim is the hired help stalwart, Chrysler.

After having sold 102,971 in the first six months of 2017, Audi defeat Chrysler by 900-odd cars. If the momentum continues, it will be the fifth brand that Audi overtakes since 2009 (Lincoln, Infiniti, Cadillac, Acura)

The next brand name above Audi on the charts, according to, is Buick. As of June, Buick has sold 110,316 cars in America, inexpertly 7% more than Audi, so the brand will take some bewitching.
