Audi Introduces Quattro to TDI TT

Europeans now possess one more choice to make when buying an Audi TT. Not however can they choose from a gas or a diesel machine, they can now also pick a TDI with Audi’s quattro all-neighbourhood-drive system.

The 2.0-liter TDI motor develops 184 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque, which it now sends to all four wheels with the aid Audi’s legendary quattro system.

The crammed time all-wheel drive system sends power mostly to the front wheels under normal running, but can send power to the back wheels in decent milliseconds if the front wheels lose understanding. It’s enough to even pull drifts in, say, a snowy parking lot.

Tailor-made with the S tronic transmission, the quattro TT TDI gets to 62 mph in righteous 6.7 seconds, 0.3 seconds faster than the face-wheel-drive alternative.

Pre-orders are now to hand for the 41,250 Euro coupe nad 43,650 roadster, with deliveries dawn in early 2017.
