127,000 Audis Recalled in Germany for Emissions Device

Audi is recalling 127,000 cars after German authorities allegedly discovered a new emissions swindle device.

The recall covers A4, A5, A6, A7, Q5, SQ5, and Q7 models, with most of the affected cars registered in Germany. All the vehicles are powered by the 3.0L V6 diesel mechanism, and the cars in this new recall were already included in a recall of 850,000 Audis hindmost year.

The report comes from German newspaper Bild Am Sontag, who said that the German Federal Motor Exile Agency found the devices on new V6 TDI engines.

Audi has until February 2nd to find a answer for the cars that will likely require completely revised engine subdue software to be tested and submitted to the regulator for approval.
